A Message from the Rev. Susan Brouillette,
LUM Immigration Clinic director

The LUM Immigration Clinic wishes to thank EVERYONE involved with the Port of Hope 2018. With the contributions from our restaurants, volunteers, donors, corporate sponsors, experience hosts, and all of our champions we will raise over $45,000 for the LUM immigration Clinic-almost doubling what we raised last year.

We are grateful for our are guests who purchased tickets and celebrated our culturally rich and diverse community. Guests were treated to amazing food from some of the best restaurants in the city, great music by the salsa/Latin fusion band Clave Caribe, and wonderful hospitality and spirits from our host, Lafayette Brewing Company. Not only did people have a great time but there were also opportunities to learn about the services provided by the LUM Immigration Clinic.  We encourage people to check out the webpage in the next couple of weeks to view the displays that everyone was talking about.

We acknowledge our generous sponsors In total we had 28 sponsors. Our Presenting sponsor this year was Franciscan Health and our Platinum sponsors were Purdue Division of Diversity and Inclusion, Michael and Susan Brouillette, Gates Foundation, Latino Center for Wellness and Education, Marilyn S. Brouillette, and Judge Tom Busch.  Please click HERE to view our Gold and Silver sponsors. We greatly appreciate the 18 restaurants that shared wonderful appetizers and other delectables. Please click HERE to view all of the restaurants that participated in Port of Hope.  When you are out and about in the Greater Lafayette community, please be certain to acknowledge and thank our generous sponsors and restaurant donors.

Finally, we are grateful for the individuals and organizations that donated unique, one of a kind experiences. Some of the experiences included a a pie baking class, a Highland Park progressive dinner, and a guided wildflower tour and dinner at Clegg Garden. Please click HERE for a full list of experiences and their hosts.

Thank you to EVERYONE who helped with Port of Hope. We are successful because of you and your desire to make Greater Lafayette a diverse and welcoming community.
