In order to celebrate the melting pot that is Greater Lafayette, including the large contingent of International students at Purdue, the Lafayette Urban Ministry Immigration Clinic is holding its first “Port of Hope” Fundraiser on November 10 from 5:30 – 7 p.m. at Sylvia’s Brick Oven in downtown Lafayette.   Heavy appetizers will be served from local restaurants, international and American, as well as entertainment from around the world and a silent auction featuring handmade, global items.
