McAllister Foundation Supports LUM Ray Ewry Center
McAllister Foundation awarded $20,000 to LUM
The Alfred J. & Dorothy N. McAllister Foundation recently awarded LUM a $20,000 grant to upgrade the exterior security camera system at the LUM Ray Ewry Center.
At the LUM Emergency Shelter, there is a focus on health, cleanliness, accessibility, and safety each and every evening. In 2022, the LUM Healthy Shelter Initiative was launched and a comprehensive plan was put in place to make specific improvements. This $20,000 gift from the McAllister Foundation will support this Initiative and will be used to upgrade the internal security camera system in the LUM Ray Ewry Center, benefitting the Emergency Shelter, Winter Warming Station and Youth Programs (After School & 5th Quarter Summer Learning Programs).
Thanks to the McAllister Foundation for supporting LUM. Wes Tillett, LUM executive director is pictured receiving the check from Dave Webb, representing the Alfred J. & Dorothy N. McAllister Foundation.
