Five Reasons to Give

Looking for a reason to support the LUM Immigration Clinic?  Here are five.

  1. The US Immigration system is daunting and complex. Legal help for many issues can run into the thousands of dollars. LUM provides assistance free of charge, helping our immigrant neighbors in life-changing ways.
  2. LUM only assists people who are living here legally.
  3. The LUM Immigration Clinic has helped hundreds of local people gain citizenship, obtain green cards, and get asylum and temporary protected status.  They’ve helped people from all over the world to become Hoosiers.
  4. Our trained volunteers help stretch every dollar into many more hours of certified legal assistance.
  5. June is National Immigrant Heritage Month. Gala of Hope is a perfect way to celebration this important month.
