Lafayette Urban Ministry is an active partner in the Homeless Prevention and Intervention Network, a collaborative of agencies working to end homelessness through coordination, shared problem-solving, and a strong continuum of care. HPIN helps identify service gaps and factors contributing to chronic homelessness, provides learning and professional development opportunities for providers, and educates the public about homelessness and effective, community-based solutions.

LUM also participates in the Housing Stability Taskforce, which focuses on preventing housing loss by aligning resources, leveraging data, and strengthening housing stability services across the community. Additional collaboration through the Financial Assistance Network and the Coordinated Homeless Response Team supports early intervention and coordinated services.

Within this system, the LUM Emergency Shelter and Winter Warming Station provide life-saving support, complemented by the LUM Food Pantry and ID Clinic, which help remove barriers to stability and self-sufficiency.
