LUM proudly stood alongside our partners, LTHC Homeless Services and Salvation Army, as we came together to observe National Homeless Persons’ Memorial Day. This solemn day occurs annually on the winter solstice, December 21, the longest night of the year. As we reflected on the lives of individuals facing homelessness, we recognized the importance of collective action to address this ongoing issue. The gathering included a candlelight vigil, as we paid tribute to the 15 individuals who passed and recommitted ourselves to preventing another year of growing homelessness. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of those in need.
