Earlier this week, LUM staff members joined community leaders at City Hall for the reading of the proclamation for National Hunger & Homelessness Awareness Week. Mayor Tony Roswarski’s voice echoed the community’s commitment to addressing the challenges faced by our most vulnerable neighbors — the unhoused. The proclamation recognized local agencies like LUM and urged citizens to confront the realities of rising costs of food, fuel and housing. The LUM staff members’ participation underscored the collaborative approach necessary to combat homelessness and hunger. Together, as a unified force, they are leaving an enduring mark on Tippecanoe County, exemplifying the power of collective action and compassion in creating positive change.
