Start a New Family Tradition This Thanksgiving Morning
Lafayette Urban Ministry offers two fun & meaningful community events on Thanksgiving Day (11/28) for you to start a new family tradition. This year, why not get your family engaged in the LUM Community Thanksgiving Celebration and the Turkey Trot 5K Run by cooking, shopping, running, and/or volunteering? Turkey Trot 5K Run – Bring the Entire Family
For many families in our community, participating in the LUM Turkey Trot 5K Run is a fun tradition. Although it is a professionally timed 5K run, families, dogs, walkers, strollers, wagons, costumes & turkey hats are welcome. It is a great way start off your Thanksgiving day. So, if your family is here for Thanksgiving this year, sign them all up — and start a new family tradition and build a lifetime of memories — all while supporting local families in need through the programs of Lafayette Urban Ministry. Turkey Trot 5K Run details are as follows:
- Date: Thursday, November 28
- Times: Run start time — 8 a.m.; Check-In — 6:30-7:45 a.m.
- Place: Near Walmart, 2801 Cumberland Ave, West Lafayette
- Fees: $35 Adult; $10 Youth (under 13)
