The LUM Immigration Clinic has had a busy spring season with a successful Citizenship Classes, Spanish Conversation Tables & the recent Cultural Exchange Potluck Luncheon.

- Cultural Exchange Potluck Luncheon — Last week, the LUM Immigration Clinic along with three other agencies hosted this celebration to engage individuals who volunteered or participated local cultural programs.
Attendees were able to make new friends by sharing their culture through stories, language and food in a welcoming, safe and joyful environment.

The Lafayette Urban Ministry Immigration Clinic helps individuals from other countries, who are legally in the US, to navigate the often difficult and confusing Immigration and Naturalization Service bureaucracy. Directed by staff member Susan Brouillette, the LUM Immigration Clinic served 24 individuals in 2015.
