Susan Brouillette, program immigration101director of the LUM Immigration Clinic, presented a workshop entitled “Immigration 101” at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, Lafayette. The presentation was hosted by the St. Lawrence Social Justice Team and was part of the parish’s celebration of the Year of Mercy. In her remarks, Susan explained the basics of immigration while providing a context regarding the undocumented population, the factors that contribute to their migration, and the options for finding a path forward.

The St. Lawrence Social Justice Team engaged the attendees in a conversation about how the gospel informs a faithful attitude and response to the topic of immigration. To view the Immigration 101 slide presentation, click HERE.
