LUM Shelter to Benefit from CDBG Grants
Lafayette Urban Ministry has recently been awarded two significant Community Development Block Grants from both the City of Lafayette & the City of West Lafayette.
LUM was awarded $15,000 from Lafayette and $6,800 from West Lafayette — totaling $21,800.
CDBG is an important resource for local governments in their efforts to provide both transitional and permanent housing, as well as supportive services, to families and individuals experiencing homelessness. This grant money will be used to support our homeless clients.
Thanks to Gina Williams, LUM Emergency Shelter director, for her work on these grants.
