LUM Emergency Shelter to Benefit from Grants


Cities Recommend Community Development Grants

Lafayette Urban Ministry has recently been recommended for two significant Community Development Block Grants from both the City of Lafayette & the City of West Lafayette.

LUM has been recommended to receive $17,590 to support the work of the LUM Emergency Shelter ($6,340 from West Lafayette and $11,250 from Lafayette).

CDBG is an important resource for local governments in their efforts to provide both transitional and permanent housing, as well as supportive services, to families and individuals experiencing homelessness. This grant money will be used to support our homeless clients.

LUM Shelter Awarded $17K+ in Grants

LUM was awarded $11,250 from Lafayette and $6,240 from West Lafayettetotaling $17,490.

CDBG is an important resource for local governments in their efforts to provide both transitional and permanent housing, as well as supportive services, to families and individuals experiencing homelessness. This grant money will be available on July 1 and will be used to support homeless services and programs at Lafayette Urban Ministry.

Thanks to the Cities of Lafayette & West Lafayette for their continued support of LUM’s services & programs for the homeless.

LUM Shelter to Benefit from CDBG Grants


bilde (2)Lafayette Urban Ministry has recently been awarded two significant Community Development Block Grants from both the City of Lafayette & the City of West Lafayette.

LUM was awarded $15,000 from Lafayette and $6,800 from West Lafayette — totaling $21,800.
