Anonymous Gifts Strengthen LUM Lifeline

Hope Grows through Generous Local Giving

Two recent anonymous gifts are helping Lafayette Urban Ministry strengthen its Mission of serving neighbors with dignity, compassion, and hope.

A local couple recently made a transformational $110,000 gift to advance the LUM Mission and support LUM programs focused on housing stability, emergency assistance, youth opportunities, and food security. Their generosity will provide a lifeline of help and hope for neighbors facing hardship throughout Greater Lafayette.

In addition, another anonymous donor contributed $17,500 to fund a new accessible automatic door system for the LUM office entrance (pictured). The gift, facilitated through the Community Foundation of Greater Lafayette, will improve accessibility and help ensure LUM’s offices remain welcoming and accessible to all.

Together, these gifts reflect the power of community generosity and shared responsibility in strengthening support for local families and individuals in need.
