Visiting African Leaders Inspire LUM Students
Mandela Washington Fellows Visit LUM Students
Recently, four participants from the Mandela Washington Fellowship Program at Purdue University brought their expertise to the students of the LUM 5th Quarter Summer Learning Program.
Carolle Adigui from Benin, Roberta Edu from Nigeria, Tawanda Chihambakwe from Zimbabwe, and Atinedi Pito from Togo engaged with the students, sharing insights about their respective countries in Africa.
This enriching interaction, facilitated by Purdue’s Lonni Kucik & Carole Braund, underscores our commitment to offering enhanced learning experiences. The LUM students and staff are grateful for and look forward to their visit each summer.
