LUM Shelter Awarded $17K+ in Grants
Lafayette Urban Ministry has recently been awarded two significant Community Development Block Grants from both the City of Lafayette & the City of West Lafayette.
LUM was awarded $11,250 from Lafayette and $6,240 from West Lafayette — totaling $17,490.
CDBG is an important resource for local governments in their efforts to provide both transitional and permanent housing, as well as supportive services, to families and individuals experiencing homelessness. This grant money will be available on July 1 and will be used to support homeless services and programs at Lafayette Urban Ministry.
