Meet the LUM Summer Intern—Samantha
Meet Samantha Habbinga — the second LUM Summer Intern.
She grew up in Lafayette and graduated from Jefferson High School. Samantha now lives in New Richmond with her husband, Jeremey, and their 3-year-old daughter, Kodie.
She earned a BA in secondary English education and a BS in psychology from Purdue University, West Lafayette. Samantha is currently working on her Master of Social Work at the Indiana University School of Social Work, Indianapolis — anticipated graduation this December.
At LUM, she will be working with a few different programs including the Good Samaritan Program, LUM Camp, Shelter Intake & the 5th Quarter Summer Learning Program.
After graduation, Samantha hopes to use her education & experience to be a licensed “play therapist” in private practice. LUM is fortunate to have her join our team this summer.
