LUM Board Honors Individuals for Saving a Life

Police Officers, EMTs & LUM Shelter Staff Honored

At the monthly business meeting of the Board of Directors of Lafayette Urban Ministry last night, the Board presented Certificates of Appreciation to two Lafayette Police Department officers, two Tippecanoe Emergency Ambulance Service EMTs, a LUM Security Staff member and the LUM Shelter Director.

They were recognized for their efforts on the evening of January 2, 2018, when they responded to an emergency and worked as a team to save a life. If it were not for these six professionals, this individual-in-distress most certainly would not have survived.
