LUM Board Honors Individuals for Saving a Life
Police Officers, EMTs & LUM Shelter Staff Honored
At the monthly business meeting of the Board of Directors of Lafayette Urban Ministry last night, the Board presented Certificates of Appreciation to two Lafayette Police Department officers, two Tippecanoe Emergency Ambulance Service EMTs, a LUM Security Staff member and the LUM Shelter Director.
They were recognized for their efforts on the evening of January 2, 2018, when they responded to an emergency and worked as a team to save a life. If it were not for these six professionals, this individual-in-distress most certainly would not have survived.
Certificates were presented by LUM Board president, Mark Thomas, and LUM executive director, Joe Micon, to the following individuals (Pictured above L to R):

Everyone in attendance including the LUM Board of Directors gave them a sincere and rousing thank you for this life saving act as well as for all that Lafayette Police officers, Tippecanoe Emergency Ambulance Service EMTs & LUM Security Staff members do every day to keep our community and its citizens safe.
