LUM Welcomes Purdue Religious Leaders
LUM Hosts Lunch Meeting to Discuss Partnerships
LUM had the pleasure of hosting the University Religious Leaders (URL) from Purdue for their regular meeting last week—and it was a fantastic time. URL brings together religious leaders who are passionate about serving Purdue students in West Lafayette.
The afternoon kicked off at the LUM Ray Ewry Center with a blessing by Matthew Kramer-Morning, Purdue Hillel Jewish Center executive director, and delicious lunch followed by a warm welcome from Wes Tillett, LUM executive director. Wes shared an engaging overview of LUM’s programs and highlighted the many ways URL members and their communities can make a real impact through volunteering.
With winter still in full swing and spring just around the corner, Wes encouraged everyone to get involved, whether by lending a hand at the Protein Food Pantry, Emergency Shelter, After School Program, and LUM Camp. The partnership between LUM and Purdue’s University Religious Leaders remains strong, proving once again that collaboration makes a difference.
