Jubilee Christmas – A Celebration of Community & Joy
Spreading Warmth | Building Connections | Strengthening Community
Compassion & Collaboration
This year’s Jubilee Christmas was a shining example of compassion and collaboration. Held across 28 locations this past Saturday, the program brought holiday joy to 697 households, brightening the season for 1,948 children.
Powered by nearly 1,200 dedicated volunteers and countless generous donors, this massive effort distributed more than $250,000 worth of gifts, food, clothing, and books, making Jubilee Christmas one of the most impactful community-wide initiatives of the year.

Ripple Effect of Generosity

The reach of Jubilee Christmas extends far beyond the immediate joy it brings to families. By sourcing many of the gifts and food items locally and distributing $35,000 in gift cards, the program injects vital support into the local economy. Moreover, its impact helps reduce the number of families seeking emergency rent and utility assistance through LUM in the months ahead. Jubilee Christmas not only fosters holiday cheer but also promotes lasting stability for families and strengthens the community as a whole.

A Heartfelt Thank You

This incredible celebration was made possible by the collective efforts of so many. Special thanks go to Josh Prokopy, LUM Jubilee Christmas Director, as well as all the Host Site Coordinators, participating host sites, and volunteers.
