Celebrate World Homeless Day by supporting the LUM Emergency Shelter. This global day is a reminder of the ongoing crisis of homelessness, and your support can make a real difference in the lives of those in need. Four Ways YOU can help the LUM Emergency Shelter are as follows:

LUM currently has openings for Overnight Shelter Volunteers. Volunteers are needed 365 nights a year from 8 p.m. to 7 a.m. or 8 p.m. to midnight. Responsibilities include guest check-in, serving dinner, and distributing toiletries. Volunteers must maintain confidentiality, interact with diverse individuals, and be at least 18 years old.
World Homeless Day is an important moment to raise awareness, and by supporting LUM, you are helping to provide a safe, warm place for those without shelter. If you’re interested in contributing, LUM welcomes your support.
