LUM Protein Food Pantry – Every Monday & Thursday
LUM Protein Food Pantry
The LUM Protein Food Pantry is now open an additional day each week. After careful consideration and extensive research, LUM has found that expanding the hours of the food pantry better serves the needs of our community in 2024. This expansion aims to address a gap in local food assistance and further amplify LUM’s impact within our community. Monday fills a critical gap, as few pantries are open on this day, and LUM is stepping up to meet this need.
Food Pick Up
- When: Every Monday | 11:30 a.m. (flexible)
- What: Pick up food at the local food bank and deliver it to the food pantry for distribution to our shoppers. Must have a truck or van.
- Where: From the Food Finders Warehouse (1210 N 10th St, Lafayette, IN 47904) to the LUM Protein Food Pantry, 6th Street between Ferry & North Streets, Lafayette, IN

Food Rescue
- When: Every Monday | 11:30 a.m. (flexible)
- What: Pick up food at the Fresh Thyme Market, 220 S Creasy Lane, Lafayette, IN 47905
- Where: From the Fresh Thyme Market (220 S Creasy Lane, Lafayette, IN 47905) to the LUM Protein Food Pantry, 6th Street between Ferry & North Streets, Lafayette, IN

Weekly Volunteer Opportunities

- What: Set up pantry, organize food, food, greet shoppers, check-in shoppers, disinfect area before & after each interaction, break down, clean up & disinfect pantry
- Where: LUM Protein Food Pantry at St. John’s Episcopal Church, 6th Street between North & Ferry Streets, Lafayette, IN
