Food Pantry (Lafayette) - Volunteers - January-June 2024

DETAILS:

The LUM Protein Food Pantry needs volunteers each Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for...

  • General duties - 8:30 a.m. - Noon - Set up pantry, organize bags of food, Distribute bags of food, greet clients, disinfect area before & after each interaction, break down, clean up & disinfect pantry
  • Load in - 8:45 - 10 a.m. - Move food from truck to pantry; must be able to lift 30 pound boxes; assist in packaging up food; disinfect, sanitize & clean pantry
  • Data entry - 9:45 - Noon - MUST BE TRAINED - Check-in clients, enter clients into the LUM database. If not trained, call 765-423-2691 for information.
