Thank You to the LUM Camp 2023 Donors

Providing a Lifetime of Memories to Local Kids

Thanks to many individual donors and gifts from organizations, 80+ children will participate in LUM Camp next week. They will experience nature hikes, arts and crafts, boating, swimming, morning chapel, wall climbing, zip-lining, the giant swing, snacks, delicious meals, and diverse and caring counselors.

LUM Camp is a scholarship-based camp, meaning LUM only invites children whose parents are not able to pay for the actual cost of more than $300 per camper. Parents pay only $5 per child, and donations from individuals, organizations, churches and businesses cover the rest. Join us in thanking all of our individual donors as well as our other donors, which include: CENTRAL Presbyterian Church ($10,000), DRLF Consulting ($1,050), Electric Plus ($1,500), Fraternal Order of Eagles – Aerie 347 ($600), Lafayette Church of the Brethren ($743), Lafayette Kiwanis Club ($600), Lafayette Noon Optimist Club ($750), Neighborhood Christian Chapel ($900), Ram Z’s Emporium ($600), and ST. ANDREW United Methodist Church ($2,266).

These gifts will help pay for a child’s transportation, room and board, camp activities, educational programs and supplies – everything campers need to attend LUM Camp.
