Global Fest & Naturalization Ceremony

Recently Christian Gallo, the LUM Immigration Clinic director, attended and assisted with the USCIS Naturalization Ceremony in West Lafayette, IN. Several individuals pledged the Oath of Allegiance to the United States and became U.S. citizens on that day. LUM Immigration Clinic also set up a table with information materials at the event.

The next day, Christian attended the 2022 Global Fest (West Lafayette, IN), a popular, community-wide festival to celebrate the cultural diversity within our community. Christian staffed a tent providing information and answering questions about the services and impact of the LUM Immigration Clinic.

Outreach and networking are important parts of the mission of Lafayette Urban Ministry. Staff members are available to speak or set up an information table for churches, civic organizations, agencies, community events, and educational groups.
