LUM Students Reap Benefits of Garden
LUM Summer Students Build a Vegetable Garden
When parents pick up their children from the LUM After School Program they are able to take home vegetables that were grown by the LUM students. The LUM 5th Quarter Summer Learning Program students engaged in a garden project that gave them many opportunities for experiential learning. Now these freshly grown vegetables are being shared with the students’ families. This was such a rewarding project, and the students loved being a part of it.
