Meet the LUM Interns — Katherine Brandes
Katherine Brandes is from Batesville, Indiana and is an Ivy Tech (Lafayette) undergraduate in the Human Services Department.
As a LUM Intern, Katie is working with the After School Program as a tutor and bus driver. In addition to her studies at Ivy Tech and 
internship with LUM, she works as a mental health technician at the Wabash Alliance Elmwood Group Home.
After graduating in May 2013 with an associate’s degree in applied science, Katie will continue her studies at IU East in Richmond pursuing a bachelor’s and Master’s degree in social work. Her dream job would be to either work with the elderly or work for Adult Protective Services.
