LUM provides safe, fun, and enriching childcare for children in Kindergarten through 6th grade year-round. The LUM After School Program serves up to 70 students from local elementary and middle schools each afternoon — including special celebrations like Read Across America Week — enabling parents to complete their workday knowing their children are safe, supported, and engaged.

The LUM After School Program needs volunteers from 2:30–6:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Volunteers tutor, read with students, give spelling tests, and help supervise activities. Please consider signing up today and making a difference in a child’s life.
