Six Ways to Support LUM Food Programs
Offer Food, Warmth & Kindness This Winter
As food and housing costs continue to rise, more local families are relying on LUM Food Programs for support—and food rescue is a key part of the solution. By rescuing safe, high-quality surplus food from local restaurants, bakeries, and grocery stores, LUM helps reduce food waste while increasing access to food & meals at the LUM Protein Food Pantry, After School Program, Emergency Shelter and Winter Warming Station.

Donate Financially
Monetary gifts give LUM the flexibility to respond quickly to rising food costs and direct funds where they are needed most across the Protein Food Pantry, Emergency Shelter and Winter Warming Station. Give now.

Serve & Prepare Meals
Help prepare and serve meals for guests at the LUM Emergency Shelter or assemble to-go meals for the Winter Warming Station—nearly 150 meals are needed each night during winter. Learn more.
Provide Needed Items
Donations of paper products, cleaning supplies, infant care items, and personal hygiene products help meet daily needs. Items can be dropped off at the LUM Office, Food Pantry or shipped directly through the LUM Amazon Wish List. Learn more.
Each action you take strengthens LUM’s ability to meet the growing demand for food and ensures that our neighbors have reliable access to meals when they need them most. Join us today—volunteer, donate, or host a drive—and be part of the solution that feeds, supports, and uplifts our community.
