Purdue FIJI Run-the-Ball Event Supports LUM


For the second year in a row, Phi Gamma Delta (FIJI) is continuing its revived tradition of running a football from West Lafayette to Bloomington ahead of the annual Old Oaken Bucket game between Purdue and Indiana Universities. The Purdue and IU FIJI chapters have again teamed up to make Run the Ball 2025 their biggest philanthropy event yet, each setting a goal to raise $30,000 for LUM Homeless Services.

The Lambda Iota Chapter at Purdue is once again running to benefit Lafayette Urban Ministry, supporting essential services for individuals experiencing homelessness in Greater Lafayette. The IU chapter is raising funds for a Bloomington shelter. Both chapters are turning their school rivalry into a friendly fundraising competition—Purdue vs. IU—to see who can make the greatest community impact.
