You’re Invited to Join the LUM Legacy Partners

For more than 50 years, Lafayette Urban Ministry has served neighbors in crisis—offering shelter, food, and hope to those who need it most. You can ensure that this vital work continues for generations to come by joining the LUM Legacy Partners, a group of committed supporters who have included LUM in their estate plans. Leaving a legacy gift is easier than you might think. Here are some simple ways to make a lasting impact:

• Name LUM as a beneficiary of your 401(k), 403(b), IRA, or other retirement account—this can be as easy as updating a form with your plan administrator.
• Include LUM in your will with a specific dollar amount, percentage of your estate, or a residual gift.
• Gift your appreciated stock—this may offer tax benefits while supporting our mission.
• Transfer real estate or other property—help LUM grow its long-term support base.
• Use a Donor Advised Fund (DAF)—recommend a future gift to LUM directly from your fund.
