Key Data – Local Households Served & Program Outcomes
As Lafayette Urban Ministry continues to highlight the newly published LUM Impact Report 2024, the key data below offers insight into the households served and the range of services provided, reflecting the impact of LUM’s programs throughout the year.
In 2024, a total of 4,326 unique households participated in one or more LUM programs. Staff members also track specific metrics within each program, including the total number of households and the total number of occurrences for each household. In the charts below, the term “households” refers to the cumulative total for each individual program, totaling 7,022. Occurrences, totaling 48,594, include activities such as assistance reviews, IDs ordered, consultations held, children served each school day, meals provided, food pantry visits, and bed nights recorded.

Lafayette Urban Ministry is in the business of restoring human dignity. Through voluntary efforts and contributions we give back the hope, the future, and the self respect which all God’s people need and deserve.
Ours is a Christian ministry that welcomes congregations and people of all faiths.
We give witness to God’s saving love & prophetic power by loving neighbors, seeking justice, empowering the least among us, and renewing the Church’s social ministry.
