LUM Board & Staff – Sharpening Their Skills


LUM Leadership Participate in Governance Series

Since February, several LUM board & staff members have been participating in the Eberle Nonprofit Board Governance Series. The Eberle Series is a seven-session educational program that focuses on nonprofit essentials including board-staff relations, fundraising and strategic planning.

Participating from LUM are (pictured L to R) Deb Parent, board vice president; Chuck Anderson, board president; Pablo Malavenda, executive program director; Nina Morgan, board personnel committee chair; Wes Tillett, executive director; and the Rev. Dr. Gladys Nwabah, board program, planning & evaluation committee chair. Next month at the final Eberle Series workshop, each LUM participant will be awarded the “Leader with Purpose” certificate.
