Phi Kappa Psi Participates in LUM Service Day

Fraternity Members Deep Clean Shelter & More

This past Sunday, several members of the Indiana Delta chapter of Phi Kappa Psi Fraternity at Purdue participated in a LUM Service Day at the LUM Ray Ewry Center.Purdue Phi Kappa Psi members spent the day deep cleaning the LUM Ray Ewry Center, home of the LUM Emergency Shelter and Youth Programs. They picked up the grounds and cleaned, disinfected and organized the entire building, including the two kitchens, laundry room, 46 bed frames & mattresses, appliances, four bathrooms, showers, dining room chairs & tables, floors, ceiling vents, baseboards and more.

As a part of the LUM Healthy Shelter Initiative, each month a group of volunteers will be recruited to “deep clean” the LUM Emergency Shelter as well as the rest of the Ray Ewry Center facility and grounds.

Join us in thanking the members of the Indiana Delta chapter of Phi Kappa Psi Fraternity at Purdue for their service to LUM. If your organization or business would like to volunteer with LUM, please visit the LUM website or email or call Terri Anderson, LUM Volunteer Coordinator (volunteer@LUMserve.org | 765-423-2691).
