Bus Driver – After School Program

LUM has openings for Bus Drivers with the LUM After School Program. Please review the information below — and share with others. Applications will be reviewed as received.

Type: Part-time, paid; Pay: $15.00 per hour

Hours: January 2, 2023 through May 24, 2023; Monday-Friday; 2:00 – 4:00 p.m.; 10 hours per week; Schedule follows the Lafayette School Corporation calendar.  If interested, you can also be put on the substitute list for teaching staff.

Duties: Driver for 14-passenger bus. Bus drivers are needed to transport students from local schools to the LUM Ray Ewry Center, 525 N 4th St., Lafayette, IN

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children
  • Valid driver’s license; Good driving record
  • Online training required for driving an activity bus as well as in health, safety, and child development
  • Must pass state background check, and complete new hire screenings
