Turkey Trot 2021 – Record Breaking Year
660+ Participants – $32,000+ Raised for LUM
The 2021 Turkey Trot 5K Run welcomed back live runners on Thanksgiving morning and was a successful event, setting records for number of participants and money raised for LUM. This year, the event raised more than $32,000 and had more than 660 individuals registered to participate. Turkey Trot is an important event for LUM because it creates a sense of community and funds all of the LUM programs including youth programs, the food pantries, financial assistance, immigration services, tax assistance and homelessness services.
The Thanksgiving morning weather was overcast and rainy but the rain stopped before the run began at 8 a.m. Please join us in thanking all of our participants, donors, and event sponsors.
