Lafayette Urban Ministry Serves 900+ Meals

Yesterday, Lafayette Urban Ministry hosted the 33rd annual Greater Lafayette Interfaith Community THANKSGIVING Celebration. The event was free, open to the public and included a Thanksgiving feast served from noon to 2 p.m. Special guests included State Representative Sheila Klinker. There was also live entertainment from Frank Rosenthal, the West Lafayette High School Orchestra, Jason Dufair, and Second Presbyterian Church featuring Ebony Barrett. More than 900 meals were served, which included 75 turkeys, stuffing, mashed potatoes, rolls and 112 pies. It was a festive event for the community. To view event PHOTOS, click button below.

Thanks also to the major donors, Lafayette Auto Supply, Industrial Federal Credit Union, Cathy Russell Team Real Estate, Denny’s Body Shop, Purdue Aviation, and Phronesis, Inc. — as well as Lafayette Brewing Co., Jane’s Gourmet Deli & Catering, and Popp-A-Top for food donations.
