Local Students Ignite Warmth, Hope & Change
Raising Funds, Making Meals, Collecting Socks

Students at Living Stone Homeschool Academy are discovering that service is more than an activity—it’s a meaningful way to care for others and grow as individuals. In support of the LUM Winter Warming Station, they raised $1,500, prepared meals twice, and collected essential items for guests, including socks. The students also invited Wes Tillett, LUM executive director, to their school to present him with a “big” check, celebrating their impact (pictured).
Thanks to the students, families, and teachers, this effort taught lessons in compassion, teamwork, and generosity. Their support of LUM strengthens the community and shows that even small acts of kindness can create lasting change.
