Last year the entertainment spanned four-generation with a 14-year-old performing a classical guitar piece to a vocal group with members in their 80’s and 90’s. Other highlights included the West Lafayette High School Barbershop Quartet, a Handbell duet, a performance by a current pastor and another by a retired pastor as well as a women’s trio featuring singers from the First United Methodist Church.

LUM Follies – A Word of Appreciation

Many people helped make LUM Follies a joyous expression of our 41 years of ministry together at LUM. We wish to express our appreciation to Rev. Tim Burchill and the staff and congregation of Saint Andrew United Methodist Church for being such gracious hosts. And thanks to Boy Scout Troop 335 for setting up and taking down tables and chairs. And we are most grateful to Eileen Hession Weiss for directing this evening’s show and to each of our Follies performers for taking the time and effort to share their considerable talents with us. Follies cover was designed by Thomas Decker, Central Catholic High School senior.

Thanks also to the members of the planning committee: Cathy Potter, Patty Useem, Joan Low, Nita Cunningham and Deb Parent as well as LUM Staff members: Mary Anderson, Eileen Hession Weiss, Sylvia Mohler, Linda Hicks and Joe Micon.
