LUM Mission Moment – Meet Tanya & Her Kids

A Place to Grow, Year After Year

One local family has grown alongside LUM Youth Programs. All four siblings found stability, encouragement, and a sense of belonging through the After School Program and summer LUM Camp. The journey began in 2023 when sisters Maya and Sierra enrolled; now in 7th and 5th grade, they continue to return during e-learning days and school breaks. Their younger sisters, Lila (now in 3rd grade) and Nia (currently in kindergarten), followed, making this a long-standing LUM youth family.

Through consistent care, trusted relationships, and flexibility during times of change, LUM has helped provide routine, support, and peace of mind for the entire family. When their mother, Tanya Reynolds, experienced changes to childcare vouchers, LUM staff worked closely with her to ensure a smooth transition and uninterrupted care into 2026, reinforcing LUM’s commitment to strengthening families and helping children thrive.
