Serve, Celebrate & Support LUM This Season
Join LUM this season to give, volunteer, and participate in events that support our community and those in need.
- HOMELESS SERVICES Needs – Contribute hygiene products, warm clothing, cleaning supplies, or meals for the Emergency Shelter and Winter Warming Station (Nov. 15–Apr. 15). Cash donations are also appreciated. Learn more
- POINSETTIA PLANTS for Sale – Support LUM Youth Programs including the After School Program by ordering Indiana-grown poinsettias in Red, Pink, White, Marble, and Jingle Bells. Orders due Nov. 12; pick up Dec. 3 at the LUM Ray Ewry Center. Learn more
- BEYOND the BRIDGE – Attend a screening of Beyond the Bridge: A Solution to Homelessness, hear from filmmakers and local leaders, and join a community Q&A about solutions to homelessness. Thursday, Nov. 13, 1–4 PM at Connection Point Church. Free with RSVP. Learn more
- DRIVE-THRU SOUP DAY – Thursday, Nov. 20, 4–5:30 PM. Drive through Westminster Village (West Lafayette) to pick up homemade soup, with proceeds supporting LUM programs. Order online or via email. Learn more
- COMMUNITY THANKSGIVING FEAST – Help prepare and serve a free Thanksgiving Day (Nov. 27) meal to community members in need. Volunteer opportunities and food donations are welcome. Learn more
- TURKEY TROT 5K RUN – Participate in or support this annual fundraiser to benefit LUM programs on Thanksgiving Day (Nov. 27). Open to runners, families, and teams. Learn more
- JUBILEE CHRISTMAS – Volunteer to host a family, sort toy donations, or donate new, unwrapped toys, clothing, books, sports equipment, and quilts for children. Opportunities on Dec. 13 and earlier. Learn more
