LUM After School Program Kicks Off
Here are THREE WAYS You Can Make a Difference
It’s back-to-school season—and at LUM, that means the After School Program is officially in session! Each weekday afternoon, the LUM Youth Programs team welcomes up to 70 students in grades K–8, offering a safe, fun, and enriching place to learn, grow, and connect. While students enjoy homework help, games, and activities, parents can finish their workday knowing their children are cared for and supported.
The school year is just getting started, so it’s the perfect time to join the effort and help set students up for success.
Three Ways To Make a Difference This School Year are as follows:
- DONATE – Make a Monetary Donation, click HERE
- VOLUNTEER – Sign up to be a Teacher’s Aide, click HERE
- Donate NEEDED ITEMS (snacks, toilet paper, cleaning supplies), to view the LUM Wish List, click HERE
LUM is especially looking for volunteers from 2:30 to 6:30 p.m. on weekdays to tutor, encourage, and guide students. Just a few hours of volunteer time can help a child stay on track—and thrive—this school year. Ready to help? Sign up today and make this a year to remember for LUM students.
