60.3% of the LUM Budget Comes From Individuals

Lafayette Urban Ministry relies on the generosity of people like you—our neighbors, our community, and those who care.

In 2023, LUM revenue approached $1.5 million, with minimal government funding and no national parent organization support. Instead, in the past five years, 60.3% of the LUM budget came from individual donations. The rest came from church contributions (13%), corporations (10%), civic organizations (6%), government grants (3%), bequests (2%), and fundraising events & program revenue (5.7%).
