This summer, LUM is excited to announce that the LUM Protein Food Pantry will be open an additional day each week. After careful consideration and extensive research, LUM has found that expanding the hours of the food pantry better serves the needs of our community in 2024. This expansion aims to address a gap in local food assistance and further amplify LUM’s impact within our community. Monday fills a critical gap, as few pantries are open on this day, and LUM is stepping up to meet this need.
Equipment Moving Day
- When: Saturday, June 1 | 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- What: Help us move equipment for the food pantry. 15 volunteers needed. Three volunteers with trucks needed.
- Where: LUM Westside Food Pantry at the Unitarian Universalist Church, 333 Meridian Street, West Lafayette, IN

Weekly Volunteer Opportunities
- When:
- What: Set up pantry, organize food, food, greet shoppers, check-in shoppers, disinfect area before & after each interaction, break down, clean up & disinfect pantry
- Where: LUM Protein Food Pantry at St. John’s Episcopal Church, 6th Street between North & Ferry Streets, Lafayette, IN
