LUM “Summer of Service” Needs YOU!
Hot Needs – Volunteer – Immediate Openings
The LUM Summer of Service offers volunteer opportunities that fit every schedule. Some require training, but most just a willing heart and a helping hand. Below are two immediate needs. Sign up today — and share with others.
Shelter — Provide Meals
A simple meal for 44 shelter guests is needed each evening at 8 p.m. Planning and preparing a meal is a great activity for groups. You may stay and serve the meal or drop it off in advance. Meals needed July 2, 4, 9, 14 & 26.
LUM Camp — Counselors
Needed from 11 a.m. on Monday, July 25 to 4 p.m. on Friday, July 29. Oversee children during a four-day, overnight camp. Support each child with structured activities.
Training is provided. Stipend of $200 offered.
