LUM Tax Assistance—Celebrates Success
The volunteers and staff who have been working with this year’s LUM Tax Assistance Program met for lunch at Lafayette Brewing Co. to celebrate another successful year. Some interesting statistics about this year’s LUM Tax Assistance Program are as follows:
- 552 – Income Tax Returns filed
- $877,327 – Total Federal Refunds; $102,067 – Total State Refunds
- $979,394 – Total Refunds
- $332,536 – Total in Earned Income Credit
- $19,719 – Average Adjusted Gross Income
