Immigration Clinic — Seeks Volunteers
The LUM Immigration Clinic is in need of volunteers who have experience taking short hand and dictation.
The volunteer would assist in preparing client applications for submission to United States Citizenship & Immigration Services. Several application types require that client’s provide declarations to be included as evidence in support of their claim to a particular benefit. In many cases we have found that it is helpful and expedient for the information to be recorded during staff interviews/consultations.
At the most a volunteer would be asked to assist one to two hours a week during regular office hours (Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.), and scheduling would be done according to the availability of the volunteer.
If interested please call or email Susan Brouillette, LUM Immigration Clinic director (765.423.2691 | sbrouillette@lumserve.org).
