RUSTIC ITALIAN DINNER
Bill and Gail Gettings welcome you to their home for a Rustic Italian Dinner. This four-course meal, complete with antipasti plates, homemade ravioli with basil pesto sauce, soul warming soup, focaccia bread, and roasted pork and vegetables, is thoughtfully paired with wine and spirits to tempt all your senses. Cap the evening off with homemade pastries, fresh fruits, coffee and a digestive. Bill and Gail will share their love of cooking and entertaining, as they invite you to join them in the preparation and presentation of this gourmet treat in a lovely rural setting.

TIPPECANOE COUNTY COURTHOUSE TOUR
County Commissioner Tom Murtaugh will give a private, behind the scenes tour of the historic Tippecanoe County Courthouse. Enjoy a unique perspective of this local icon, including a rare glimpse of the restored clock tower and have the opportunity to see the unrivaled view of downtown Lafayette and holiday lights from the top of the dome! You will then cross the river to Scotty’s Brewhouse to enjoy a meal and drinks, while reflecting on favorite highlights of the tour.

GUIDED WILDFLOWER TOUR of CLEGG GARDEN
with DINNER OVERLOOKING THE GARDEN
April showers will bring abundant May wildflowers for you to view on your personal guided tour of the Clegg Garden, conducted by Gus Nyberg, NICHES Executive Director. On a hillside overlooking Wildcat Creek, the garden offers beautiful vistas and meandering paths to view native flora and fauna. Following the garden tour, cocktails and hors d’oeuvres and a sumptuous dinner, offering the freshest market finds, will be served in the Clegg Cottage.

Smittybread is a handcrafted artisanal bakery here in Lafayette, using high quality ingredients, time-honored baking techniques, and natural leavening agents that bring out the best in breads. Smittybread is also the story of a faded print journalist’s pursuit of meaning, happiness and income outside the newsroom. Stop the press! PLAY with CLAY
Join Scott Frankenberger in his potter studio for an afternoon of drink, nibbles and demonstration of his craft. Scott has been spinning his magic at the potter’s wheel since 1974, developing a trail of collectors spanning the globe. You will have the chance to see past and current work, learn about his techniques, and try your own hand at decorating an individual plate. Your decorated piece will subsequently be fired at a later date and returned to you. Don’t miss this chance to have your own personalized ‘Frankenberger.’

HIGHLAND PARK PROGRESSIVE DINNER
Enjoy a wonderful evening great food, drinks and conversation in a trio of Historic Highland Park residences. The fun will begin with cocktails, appetizers and laughter at the Hainje home. You will then proceed across the street to enjoy a sumptuous dinner accompanied by warm conversation at the Gunderson’s residence. The evening will wind down with dessert and drinks as you move next door to the Carr/Stevens home. No matter the weather outside, the evening will be warm with old friends and new acquaintances.

There are stories to be told of the hundreds of interesting things inside…we know you’ll find it to be one of the more interesting and unusual addresses in our city. Lunch will be served and you will leave with an artistic creation of your own and perhaps an idea or two.
