LUM Thanksgiving – A Lifeline of Help & Hope
Community, Care, Compassion and Second Helpings
As cold weather moved into the area, the LUM Community Thanksgiving Feast provided a true lifeline of help and hope for individuals feeling more isolated than ever.
For 39 years, this simple yet powerful program has remained both relevant and popular, bringing people together for great food, lively music, laughter, and meaningful conversations.

Thanks to the generosity of donors, sponsors, and 235 hard-working volunteers, the LUM Community Thanksgiving Feast served 1,024 meals, including 62 turkeys and 132 homemade pies. Central Presbyterian Church graciously hosted the event, providing a warm space where everyone was welcomed with dignity, respect, and even second helpings.
