LUM Celebrates Volunteers
LUM Annual Volunteer Appreciation Reception
As part of National Volunteer Week, the Lafayette Urban Ministry family gathered yesterday to honor the heart and soul of the organization — the volunteers. Hosted by Terri Anderson, LUM volunteer coordinator, and Wes Tillett, LUM executive director, the LUM Volunteer Appreciation Reception was a heartfelt celebration of the individuals who make the LUM mission possible. This special event included inspiring remarks, well-deserved awards, and fellowship over refreshments.
Special recognition was given to the LUM volunteers who went above and beyond this past year. Leading the way in volunteer service were Nina & Rob Morgan, who contributed 603 & 453.5 hours, respectively; and Tricia Sembroski, who contributed 539.75 hours. Please see below for the three outstanding volunteers who each contributed more than 300 hours of service, as well as the nine dedicated individuals who each served 200 hours or more:
